Romantic & Fun Locations

There are many locations in the New Orleans area that are more than suitable for your ceremony and may be just the right setting to really 'make' your special day. There are some weather restrictions on the outdoor locations—just like snow limits outdoor celebrations during winter in the North, the late summer here is mostly hot, humid and with mosquitoes—but in both situations the difficulties can be overcome with planning and preparation. That said, there are always many different locations to meet almost every taste and whim. Many fantastic locations are free, there are those with a modest fee and there unbelievable spots with a cost to match. I'll tell you of a few on these pages, but it is certainly not an exhaustive list.

If you have made your location arrangements, great! If not, I'll work with you to identify and arrange for an appropriate one for your celebration. Just remember that the popular locations are booked well in advance—and you should do so too—especially if you are planning for a large number of guests.

	Hold your ceremony in a secluded French Quarter courtyard by the fountain?
	Enjoy a quiet and romantic spot in one of the many lovely parks in New Orleans?

Would you like to enjoy a fun location? Here are some ideas:

	How about a swinging Dixieland Jazz celebration on a genuine Mississippi Riverboat?
	Or perhaps your wedding on the banks of the Mighty Missippi River followed by a luncheon or dinner in one of the many fine restaurants.
	Hold your wedding ceremony (maximum 50 guests) on one of the traditional Street Cars on a private tour up historic St. Charles Avenue past lovely mansions.
	A fun and unique spot is at the Cajun Swamp Exhibit at the Audubon Zoo!
