Planning & Arrangements
New Orleans, the French Quarter and the surrounding countryside have many and varied interesting places to see and visit. There are many individuals and businesses that are most happy to provide the goods and services you want to make this a very special occasion.
Naturally, I wish to provide the very best service to you, so I only accept those ceremonies that I can accomplish in a professional and caring manner. My time is limited, so the earlier we start, the better it is for all concerned. Sometimes I am available on short notice, so do not hesitate to contact me.
When you initially contact me, we'll discuss your ideas and wishes for your ceremony—whether it be only as officiant for your ceremony or a comprehensive planning and consultation for everything you need. If my expertise and schedule fit your needs, we'll move forward—if not, we'll part friends.
If we agree to proceed with a plan and timeframe, we'll develop a basic agreement. An initial deposit will be payable at this time.
If you reside in the greater New Orleans area, we can meet to discuss your ceremony and the options available to you for content, location, etc. If not, we can proceed via the Internet to establish the wording for your ceremony, the location, date / time and any other appropriate arrangements.
I will provide draft copies of ceremonies appropriate for you—from which you may choose all or parts for your personal, customized ceremony. You may also add particular words, poems, music and participation of others as you wish. I will then prepare a final draft of your ceremony for your approval.
After we agree on the ceremony content, the final payment for my services is due and the full ceremony will be printed for inclusion in your Wedding Keepsake Folio.
The complexity and time required for this and other efforts will form the basis of my fee (see Financial Considerations).
